Logan stops for a moment to view the wondrous scenery. Lavender and white wild flowers grow tall and profusely, as they joyously dance in the breeze. He listens intently, and hears the wind singing among trees. Logan is in awe of such a profound experience, yet goes with the flow. He feels elated, blissful, and serene. Every aspect of his being is in stillness, as he listens to this Universal Symphony a symphony of more than just the wind but the entire universe in movement. He is captivated with the wonder of a paradox; directly experiencing, by means of his five senses, what is beyond his five senses. He effortlessly feels expanded consciousness and while doing so gazes at his surroundings. Wild roses are growing freely throughout the hilltop. Daylilies add a splash of colour throughout the surroundings, with their yellows, oranges, and golden hues.
He turns his gaze and finds two butterflies playfully chasing one another, flying in and out amongst the lilies. The sky is a most brilliant blue, and overflowing with billowing, soft white clouds that drift lazily along. Two doves are nestled in a nearby blue spruce tree, and coo back and forth with each other. A humming bird discovers some nectar from a honey suckle bush and hovers there contentedly.
Logan perceives the paradox of stillness in the motion while viewing the movements of bountiful nature and the simultaneous motion in the stillness, as indiscernible forces like the elements will create change over time of epochs.
The experience lovingly touches the depths of his heart. He ponders about how the mystical is magically interwoven within nature.
Logan feasts his eyes on more of the natural beauty surrounding him. The wisteria forms an archway, as it grows intertwined, full with deep rich flowers.
Some wild strawberries are amongst the daisies, Queen-Annes Lace and wild buttercups. Logan considers that perhaps he could live here forever; its a real paradise.
However, there is a call in his heart that determines his place is to be back with the group at the retreat. Why? So that his dream, his life purpose may unfold. He senses, without a doubt, that it is time for him to leave. He also realizes that he isintertwined with the entire cosmos as an integral part of this natural Universal masterpiece. After enjoying the wonders of the hilltop for a while he is ready for his descent back to the group.
Very inspiring and deeply mystical passgage. Nature can truly inspire the soul with her beauty.
I wrote this passage based on an experience I had in childhood while noticing the beauty of nature in a field of wild flowers. I will always remember this experience, and wanted to include a passage based on this experience in NEXUS.
